Creative Communications Team

The Creative Communications Team is responsible for all things advertising and web-related. We are in charge of the weekly newsletter, Impact Notes and the Primetime Post (passed out at Primetime), and creating posters and other advertisements for events within Student Impact. The Communication Team also manages the Student Impact website and database. Join our team if you are interested in these opportunities or just want to learn more about them!

Community Team

The Community Team's goal is to build relationships within Student Impact. This is achieved through striving to create a welcoming, accepting, loving community representative of Christ's characters at events for the whole campus, Primetime and other Student Impact meetings, and the Movement (Bible Studies and teams). The big events that Community Team puts on are the Barn Bash, Christmas Dance, smaller social events (roller skating, movie/game nights), some Primetime Overtimes, encouragement cards, organizing events between Bible Studies, and CSI: Community Service Involvement. A ton of fun and full of love for the Lord!

Outreach Team

The Outreach Team is a group of fun, energetic students passionate about sharing Christ with our campus. Our meetings consist of everything from prayer, to sharing our "peaks and valleys" of the week, to planning large scale events, and random "30 second dance parties". Whether it's in large group events like bringing in philosophers or entertainers, or on a smaller scale like evangelism training times, the Outreach Team is focused on spreading salt and light to every corner of campus to every corner of the world.

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team is a family that wants to learn how to better communicate with God and also provide opportunities for the rest of the movement to meet with Him. A natural outcome of praying with people is getting to know them on a deeper level, but our primary intent is to know God's heart and allow Him to mold us in His image. The prayer team isn't for people who've figured out exactly how to communicate with God, in fact, we're all still learning. As a team, we'll make these discoveries together.

Primetime Team

We're the team that puts together the weekly event that you know as PRIMETIME! In our team meeting time we plan and organize Primetime--everything from speakers to fun activities ("mixers") to creative ways to give announcements. There are many different aspects of the Primetime team including: scheduling each week, greeting at Primetime, "Red cards", hauling sound equipment, set-up, tech team etc. Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment at Primetime where students can come hear about God and fellowship with other students!

If you like to help plan, organize, be creative with movies and publicity then this team is definitely for you! Come and join us for a SPEV-Tacular time!

Worship Team

We're the band. We lead worship music at Primetime every week, as well as for Fall Getaway every year. We have a weekly meeting to practice the music for that week and fellowship together. Our desire is to see students in our movement experience change in their hearts and lives as a result of meeting with God in worship, and to see students in our movement worshipping God with passionate spirits and authentic hearts.
